In yet another innovation, Monumental Vending recently became the first vending company in the nation to receive service alerts from all of our vending machines.
All of our snack machines and beverage machines are set up with wireless devices. These devices not only keep track of sales, they also “call us” and let us know if there is a problem or if there is a suspected problem.
Rather than wait until a customer or client decides to call us and let us know about a problem or until one of our drivers arrives to re-fill a machine, we’ve invested in vending alert technology to improve service.
The alert technology deployed in all of our vending machines monitors everything that is happening in the vending machine. If the temperature in a soda vending machine gets too high, a message is sent to us. If a coin gets jammed, we receive an alert. If a machine hasn’t received bills in some time, we are notified that a possible problem might be occurring with the bill acceptor.
